This may piss off a few of the musicians around here, but this is just my opinion:

One thing that makes modern music so repetitive and unoriginal is the general abject lack of musicianship among musical artists today, which severely limits their ability to express whatever artistic sensibilities they may have. Honestly, I would be surprised if over 7% of musicians today could play their instruments outside of the 4/4 time signature or even read/write any musical notation at all; It’s tantamount to being a sketch artist that can only draw stick figures in one color. The few musicians today that are capable of reading and writing musical notation and playing outside of 4/4, they’re typically in the music world as academics rather than original artists.

Another thing: the online-right talks about popular music being disappointing these days without realizing that popular music was almost never made to be something deeply tasteful for people years later to enjoy and respect as culture; pop music has almost always been something engineered to appeal to the lowest common denominator for profit — and cultural manipulation you could also say. Whenever pop music has been genuinely good it’s usually been by accident or by some exceptional artist with real talent that somehow slipped through — Eddie Van Halen is a good example.

Perhaps pop music was better in the 80s and 90s, but for every good song or artist from that era there were countless other aspiring musicians that tried to jump the bandwagon but didn’t make it, because they really sucked. The only difference now is that thanks to the internet, there’s more music genre niches competing with pop music, and thus fewer pop-oriented “artists” for talent scouts to skim off the top.

I can’t help but think all the extreme hate speech laws and enforcement are partially to blame for the sudden rise of the anti-American sentiments within the dissident right. A lot of the prominent people (and their following) within this movement are British, and they’ve understandably learned to shy away from openly condemning Jews, Arabs and negroes as the problems afflicting White society. So after years and years of diligent self-censorship to avoid running afoul of their hate speech laws, it was only inevitable that this censorship would have an influence on their own ability to think clearly — not on all of them, but definitely some of them. Who can they safely condemn and pour scorn on now?

That’s at least partially how America — its land, culture and people — became both a scapegoat and the punching bag for the online dissident right.

Founding stock Americans died so that we could have our natural rights protected by a strong constitution. Having negative rights (as in freedom from…) is a big part of American culture. So all the asshats overseas saying that “Americans have no culture” ironically exist within a culture of little to no rights against the system. They can’t tell their police that they don’t want to talk nor can they remain silent without facing consequences at some point.

AT&T bought out DC Comics in 2018, and like Disney—get investment via ESG social credit scores.

WarnerMedia’s new Diversity & Inclusion Policy, announced in September, is a pioneering media industry commitment to give more opportunities to women, people of color and individuals from other underrepresented groups – both in front of and behind the camera.”

"Do you want to live in Homophobic Communist Shithole or Gay Communist Shithole?"

How about neither?

Why do people always try to rehabilitate these crappy Socialist states? We have our own countries to RETVRN post about.

1970s USSR was corrupt, economically stagnant, totalitarian, and collapsed 2 decades later. You'd probably be arrested for Tweeting this in 1970s USSR. Plus the left picture is actually a prostitute from 1991.

See, much more effective propaganda.

What Rich is saying here may be obvious to many of you, but it’s clear that the dissident right needs to take another dose of the race pill. When they pin the blame for America’s problems on Americans or “America,” it’s as if they’ve totally forgotten the most crucial piece of the puzzle: race.

Latest hot take from one corner of the e-right: “America has no culture, cause like, American cheese and bread isn’t as good as ours in Europe.

Wow, I just can’t express how ashamed I feel to be American now if we don’t even have decent cheese or brotchen.
