I think the inevitable collapse and balkanization of the current USA will be an opportunity for a real American renaissance. I saw this coming back when they were banning the Confederate flag and tearing down the statues of Confederate heroes. The logical next step was that the Founding Fathers and the American flag were just as bad, because it’s all related to evil, bigoted white men. They kind of did the same here in Canada when the Trucker Protests happened and protesters had the Canadian flag. Media was trying to whip people into a frenzy about the far right, racists who used the Canadian flag as a symbol of their bigotry; so anyone with one on their house or car (more so pickup truck, because we all know those are owned by white red necks) were automatically Public Enemy Number One.
