What’s strange to me about these EuroNat types that are obsessed with deconstructing Americans is that they can’t agree on whether or not Americans are Europeans — some will say that Americans have no ethnic/cultural identity, and that Americans are just Europeans, but then why criticize and deconstruct your fellow Europeans? If they’re just Europeans then clearly they can live in Europe without issue, without the need to assimilate into European culture. If Americans are just Europeans, how can Europeans be better than Americans who are actually just Europeans?

If Americans are not Europeans, then clearly Americans have their own unique identity. The Anti-American camp has to pick one, but they can’t because these anti-Americans are so full of shit, so full of ego and emotions that they need to feel superior to Americans just to make it through the day.
