Can I just say: I abso-freaking-lutely love this TED Talk!
So, if you trust my taste (or "don’t" – just a joke here, but I’d love for you to come discuss this topic together; it’s my personal pain).
Seriously, I strongly believe EVERYONE should watch it. I mean it.
So, my personal recommendation – even if you can’t join the speaking club, take 10 minutes out of your busy schedule and squeeze in time to watch this video. It’s gonna pay off later!

As the year’s coming to an end, it’s high time for some words of gratitude 🥹
I want to say a big thank you to everyone who has been a part of our speaking clubs this year! It’s been very inspiring for me to discuss all those 'philosophical' and other topics with you. I’m truly grateful for the new ideas, energy, and fun you bring to our meetings!

◾️Poor use of one’s time – Not a good way to spend time.
◾️Legitimate – Reasonable or acceptable.
◾️Dubious distinction – quality that smb is known for, but it's not good
◾️Whatever floats your boat – Do what makes you happy.
◾️Bear responsibility – To take responsibility, e.g. He bears responsibility for the project’s success.
