THOUGHTS: ATOMIC BRIDGE

Trước khi có AMM trên layer 2, cross-chain swaps được làm bằng atomic swaps. Các old school trên Reddit hồi đó nghĩ rằng đây là cách tốt nhất để đảm bảo tính phi tập trung khi swap và đặc biệt họ khá ghét các layer 2. Cũng vì tính chất khó làm của atomic swaps khi các blockchain phải có đặc trưng mã hoá tương thích với nhau (cùng loại curve) nên atomic swaps grow rất chậm, đến khi có người dùng crypto mới vào và yêu cầu về một UX swap thân thiện hơn thì layer 2 mới thắng thế. Tuy nhiên với các blockchain EVM thì atomic swaps vẫn làm ổn về mặt công nghệ.

Bridge, ngoài các cách hiểu hiện tại, thì có thể hiểu như atomic swaps giữa 1 token và đại diện (synthetic) của nó trên blockchain khác hoặc giữa 2 đại diện với nhau theo tỷ giá 1:1. Vậy nếu có atomic bridge, trước hết giữa các EVM-compatibe và Bitcoin, thì rõ ràng có thể giảm thiểu các vụ exploit như của pNetwork dưới đây. Không biết có team nào làm idea này chưa nhỉ?
