Growing in bull is for any average Joe builders. Growing in a lowkey way in bear was what OG DeFi protocols did back in 2019. Spotting out which growths are manipulated and which are organic and healthy is what needed to separate the wheat from the chaff. For example, the recent floor price growth in top NFT collections, I think, is the chaff. In the meantime, the growth in monthly NFT-collateralized loan volume in NFTfi and in Synthetix Fees on Ethereum mainnet and L2 Optimism, from which protocol stakers earn a cut, are wheats.

Tối mai, Antonio, Founder dydx sẽ lên sóng Bankless để giải thích cho quyết định rời bỏ không gian L2 trên Ethereum để xây dựng chain riêng của mình dựa trên Cosmos SDK và thuật toán đồng thuận Tendermint.
Trong post thông báo của mình, dydx ngầm ám chỉ việc rời bỏ là để phục vụ mục đích giúp cho protocol đạt được tính phi tập trung (thứ mà StarkEx hiện cung cấp chưa đáp ứng). Ngoài ra, việc trở thành một L1 trên Cosmos cũng cho phép dydx chain đạt được tính tự chủ (sovereignty) và tính tương tác với các L1 khác trên Cosmos thông qua giao thức IBC.
Các Eth maxi thì cho rằng có vẻ Antonio của dydx đã quá tập trung vào build sản phẩm mà không để tâm đến sự phát triển L2. Sự đánh đổi tính security dành cho dydx có sẵn trên L2 để lấy về tính phi tập trung khi chuyển sang L1 trên Cosmos là đánh đổi không đáng.
dydx chính là protcol có TVL lớn nhất trong không gian L2, chỉ đứng sau 2 network nền tảng là Arbitrum và Optimism. Ở thời điểm thông báo sẽ rời L2, TVL dydx vào khoảng $700M
