There's always a bull market somewhere
Growing in bull is for any average Joe builders. Growing in a lowkey way in bear was what OG DeFi protocols did back in 2019. Spotting out which growths are manipulated and which are organic and healthy is what needed to separate the wheat from the chaff. For example, the recent floor price growth in top NFT collections, I think, is the chaff. In the meantime, the growth in monthly NFT-collateralized loan volume in NFTfi and in Synthetix Fees on Ethereum mainnet and L2 Optimism, from which protocol stakers earn a cut, are wheats.
