Have you ever seen a wave grab a cloud and drag it into the sea?🌊☁️⭐️
Now Lot went up out of Zoar and lived in the hills with his two daughters, for he was afraid to live in Zoar. So he lived in a cave with his two daughters.

And the firstborn said to the younger, "Our father is old, and there is not a man on earth to come in to us after the manner of all the earth.

Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve offspring from our father."

So they made their father drink wine that night. And the firstborn went in and lay with her father. He did not know when she lay down or when she arose.

The next day, the firstborn said to the younger, "Behold, I lay last night with my father. Let us make him drink wine tonight also. Then you go in and lie with him, that we may preserve offspring from our father."

So they made their father drink wine that night also. And the younger arose and lay with him, and he did not know when she lay down or when she arose.

Thus both the daughters of Lot became pregnant by their father.

The firstborn bore a son and called his name Moab.He is the father of the Moabites to this day.

The younger also bore a son and called his name Ben-ammi.He is the father of the Ammonites to this day.

Genesis 19:30-38
Verses 30-38 See the peril of security. Lot, who kept chaste in Sodom, and was a mourner for the wickedness of the place, and a witness against it, when in the mountain, alone, and, as he thought, out of the way of temptation, is shamefully overtaken. Let him that thinks he stands high, and stands firm, take heed lest he fall. See the peril of drunkenness; it is not only a great sin itself, but lets in many sins, which bring a lasting wound and dishonour. Many a man does that, when he is drunk, which, when he is sober, he could not think of without horror. See also the peril of temptation, even from relations and friends, whom we love and esteem, and expect kindness from. We must dread a snare, wherever we are, and be always upon our guard. No excuse can be made for the daughters, nor for Lot. Scarcely any account can be given of the affair but this, The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? From the silence of the Scripture concerning Lot henceforward, learn that drunkenness, as it makes men forgetful, so it makes them to be forgotten.

Have you ever heard these sayings?1. “Never go hiking with a photographer. You’ll never make it to the top.”2. “If a photographer says ‘just one more shot,’ cancel your plans for the next hour.”3. “Photographers don’t take vacations. They go on location.”4. “Behind every great photo is a patient friend or partner… or one who gave up and went home.”Well here’s another you can add to the list! Cancel Your Plans, I Found a Pigeon!!! 🥰
Photography changes the way you see the world. I know it has for me. It strips away the adult filter and brings back that childlike curiosity. Suddenly, everything has a story worth noticing and when you slow down to look, you start to learn something magical!Take this pigeon. One of the most common birds out there but look at that iridescent shimmer catching the light as it struts around, shopping for just the right piece of nesting material. This bird knows it’s hot stuff. It even paused to look right at me, like, “This is my good side.” Haha.Slow down. Look closer. The world’s been showing off this whole time. You just have to stop and notice. You might be surprised by what you learn about it… and about yourself.

"Deep Waters" is the most personal painting I’ve ever created. I wanted to capture what it feels like to be completely overwhelmed—sinking, struggling, feeling like there’s no way back up. But Christ doesn’t just reach for us; He lifts us. He goes into the depths with us and carries us toward the light.

In this painting, Jesus isn’t standing above the waves—He is in the water, holding His beloved child on His shoulders, pressing upward. It’s a reminder that no matter how far we fall, we are never beyond His reach.

This scripture came to my heart as I painted:

"Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink... out of the deep waters." —Psalm 69:14

No matter how lost or weighed down we feel, Christ will come for us. He will bear our burdens, lift us from the depths, and carry us home. If you feel like you’re sinking, I hope this painting reminds you—He will never let you go.
