Pasar Pagi Trade Center yg akan dibangun tahun depan, menggantikan wujud Pasar Pagi yg sekarang dan sudah berdiri sejak tahun 1970-an.
Pemkot Samarinda kembali punya gawe besar yaitu merombak total Pasar Pagi dengan rencana anggaran Rp.280 milyar. Pintu utama nanti menghadap ke arah sungai dan disediakan lahan parkir memadai sehingga jalan Sudirman nanti bebas parkir sembarangan.
Ada pula area hijau sebagai upaya Green Building. Pasar konveksi terbesar di Samarinda ini jika tak ada halangan akan berubah wajah beberapa tahun lagi.
