While great news for Joel Davis and we're ecstatic for his release.

Reminder that if Joel Davis was an American. Probably a large section of the US movement would make fun of his arrest, call him a retard, and then just move on with an "at least that didn't happen to me yet!".

That's a fact we've lived with for over a decade now. Friends of ours are unjustly arrested in provably corrupt ways, and there is just barely any wider support here since "oh well they were too edgy mean with rhetoric and other petty shit I have gripes about! They deserved it! Fuck 'em! Hope they give em the max sentence!".

Hyper-individualism is a cancer here in the USA and if we're to survive, we must support ALL POLITICAL PRISONERS. Regardless if you like them or not personally in their rhetoric (as long as they're movement of course). This goes for legal support, funding, etc. across the board.

Keep in mind this, when they're done going after someone else in the US movement unjustly. They can, will, and have gone after others. It's divide and conquer. Pick a section they want to rape, then normalize a culture of the other sections being ecstatic over this rape thinking it's great for them. Rinse and repeat.
