hacking: security in practice
A guy I know gave me his number and when I looked the number up, it came up as a VOIP.

Where as when I look mine up, my siblings (who have their own plans, and coworkers) company’s come up or it says wireless.

What is a VOIP? He’s the only number I’ve seen that comes up as a VOIP. Funny enough, my parents old house phone comes up as a VOIP too.

Firewall doubts.

Hello everyone, my first interaction here. So, straight to the point, recently I've been having problems with Rockstar services, more precisely trying to access the Social Club servers, and I have two doubts. The first: This is really a firewall issue, and the second: if I disable it through the Windows system, all devices will be able to access Rockstar services. Thanks everyone, and I'm sorry if this isn't the right place for this kind of question, but I thought it would be because it has something to do with this kind of technology lol.

Looking to explore a spam link from a text message. How to stay secure?

I want to explore a link that was sent to me in a text message. It’s obviously a phishing attempt and I’m curious on where it leads and I just want to check out the code in it and what not. Would running a VM be the best way to do this?
