Someone in my household is hacking my devices

Would appreciate any kind not assistance with a situation I’m in.

We have family over and one of the young adult is very tech savy and is a hacker. I could tell because I used to be a system admin.

I have a basic internet ISP router/modem. I want to know if this guy is creating a fake network because ever since he came my wifi became spotty and disconnects.

What tools or things I can do to determine if he is doing something shady. I have a fedora on my laptop and windows on my desktop.

Any help would be great!

Call of Duty DMZ ddos?

Hey guys, I don’t know a ton about plugins and malicious software- but yesterday me and my friend had something really weird happen. Four of us were in a PS4 party, two playing one game and me and my friend playing the new COD DMZ game mode for warzone, and I hit a really nice headshot on a guy while he was extracting (so he lost everything he had), a few minutes later both of our consoles froze up, but the game kept going. (No controller inputs worked, but we were still actively in the game, just unable to move) both of my other friends in the party were fine. I couldn’t even turn off my PS4 from the actual power button, I had to unplug it. (We both unplugged our routers and Ps4s for a bit just in case) not sure if the guy I killed was who did it, I don’t really care about that anyway since I can’t report him and technically have no proof- I’m just curious if this was a ddos and if not what it might be instead.

Timeline: -Headshot guy extracting -About 4 mins later my friend hits a huge lag spike -a minute after the huge lag spike he loses ability to input controls (nothing on his PlayStation works or responds but we can still hear each other and the game is still running) -I experience huge lag spike a couple minutes after he loses controls -I am also frozen (Game is running perfectly fine in the background still, just unable to participate, we start telling our friends about it because the party mic chat still works for PSN) -Start to hear the PlayStation lobby sound over the game sound -We wait for about 5 more minutes and then decide to turn off our consoles and unplug internet for a bit -my console won’t turn off, I have to unplug it

-(Later) we both get back on and everything works fine again.
