Camera firmware

Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone can point me in a direction on how to modify a firmware for a digital camera.

I have an outdated camera that has been discontinued and as an experiment I would like to tinker with its firmware as I do understand the capabilities of the hardware and would like to unlock some features.

I know for canon camera they have magic lantern so I am trying to do something similar.

Would greatly appreciate any help or guidance.
