If you zoom in a website while browsing the Deep Web, can someone find out your screen's resolution and size?

While talking with my friends with the topic of Deep Web and other things related, I was told that someone could find out your PC's screen size if you zoom in in a website, making it a little bit easier to track you, is it true? I wasn't able to find any information online , presumably it being too specific.
