DAT file extraction

Hello all!

I have no idea where else to ask this question and figured this might be the place.

The files here belong to the now-abandonware game "Autobahn Total Racing." I have contacted the developers and publishers over the last few years and never get an answer when it comes to information on the in-game music.

Have been trying to extract / decompile the file structure inside a DAT file to locate a certain WAV audio file (if at all possible.)

The WAV file is referenced in the ".data" file that has been extracted from the AR.BIN file.

The referenced file I'm looking for seems to be "ar.dat/sound/menulo.wav"

It appears the AR.DAT file contains a file structure and I have no idea how to expand or extract the directories/files included in the file.

I've tried using a C++ decompiler on the game EXE and BIN/DAT files to get more info on the resources but haven't had any luck.

Any help would be great!

Where should I look for trustable and free proxies? How do I know if a free proxy is trustable? Is vpn or proxy server better for anonymity? I try to use proxychains on kali linux but i cant find any alive proxies for free, help me pls.
