new hashcat rule set

I have developed a hashcat ruleset and figured this would be a good place to share it: https://github.com/Unic0rn28/hashcat-rules.

It was made by testing about 76 million pre-existing rules plus 70 million+ generated ones against the top 100 million hashes in pwned-passwords v8 using two different wordlists.

All of the various sizes of rulesets performed pretty well in my testing, which was done with ~5.2 million hashes from the 2020 Apoptide leak and the SkullSecurityComp wordlist (those resources and testing figures for some of the rulesets taken from this google doc:, which was originally found on this hashkiller forum thread.)

If this is your thing, please try it out and let me know what you think :)

My father's WhatsApp account was "hacked"

Don't ask me why, but he somehow gave wsp verification code to the "hacker". What can I do? I tried: *Activating his account again (but there have been too many attempts to do that, so it's not possible). *Emailing wsp explaining the situation

BTW, I have the attacker's number.. And it works! The worst of all is that I'm a computer science student, so I feel even more useless 😔

Hacking Audi S3 2018 MMI system

My ex is a really good hacker. So okay I have no hacking skills but he basically hacked my car . Changed the language, followed my location through the gps , played music and I think heard conversations I was having in the car. What can I do to prevent other attacks???I went to Audi once and of course they looked at me like I was crazy. Idk what to do. I am seriously wondering if he could kill me by using the breaks or acceleration like mentioned in certain articles talking about remote car hacking.

Is learning how to code a good first step to get into hacking? If so what is the best program language to learn.
