Protect .mp3 USB Fob

So I will have a small footprint USB fob in my car loaded with years of musical collection.

Is there any way to load a file onto the fob that if stolen would eventually “phone home” by sending location information where they are to a server?

Thanks.

Is there anything wrong with publishing a ransomware code?

I'm new to the cyber security field and I need some advice. I recently wrote a ransomware program in python because i was curious about how it works. I tested the program and confirmed that encryption and decryption of files works as intended. I want to publish it on github to show potential employers, but I'm wondering if this kind of a thing is frowned upon by the community since anyone could use my program for malicious purposes. If so, is there an alternative way I could show my code to employers?

are there specialized people that solve how to make a machine unhackable?

if so what are they called? i was thinking in the future people will definitely have cybernetic implants and possible gundam-like machines. i was thinking what are the possible ways to defend against a hacker?

Unhackable machines

How does a hacker determine if a machine is unhackable? Is there some sort of method that eliminates the possibility of the machine being hackable or is not possible due to the many number of ways to hack a machine. This sounds kinda like the P=NP problem and since I was reading about this I thought it was an interesting question. Any answers are appreciated, thanks

Wifi speakers

So, if I have my wifi speakers connected to my wifi in the other side of the house, are there ways to interefere with that signal only? Can i disrupt the signal so it doesn’t go through anymore?

What are the options I have to get access to the root passWord of another Linux machine?

Note: I'm a beginner CS student, I've posted last week and have spent a lot of time learning but found myself stuck again, I figured out how to break into the Linux machine, but no idea how to get the root password.

I have two linux machines, and I have to break into one of them using the other. Both of them are running debain 32 and are running on the same internal network (this part is done).

I have managed to break into Linux2 using only linux1. I did this by:
ncrack host ip
when I did that, I found 4 open ports:
21/ftp 22/ssh 23/telent 80/http
From what I know, ftp and telnet are the interesting ports here. so I tried to get the password to Linux2(host name is club) using the following command.
ncrack ftp://club
these return me a couple of username+pssword, and I used to them to access the club server.
telnet club username: anonymous password: 12345 success
I am now in the club machine, but don't have root access. There is literally nothing on online to guide me on how to get root pass because all of them assume I've lost my own password, I'm not allowed to touch the club machine.

Some things that you might find interesting:

- I have a webpage on Linux1 that has some userNames and passwords, those password don't work on the root

- I have the john command on Linux1 but no password.txt file to run it on

Hope the info I gave is useful lol.
