Can an Intrusion Prevention System (e.g. Snort) prevent CSRF and XSS attacks?

Hi all,

I am currently learning about IPS and was wondering about a query that applies to how IPS works. I have knowledge of CSRF and XSS attacks, however I am unsure if Intrusion Prevention Systems can prevent these attacks as it aims to block intrusions and is performed in-line/in-band. If someone could provide me further clarification that would be great, thanks

I Suspect a Family Member is Reading My Text Messages

Hello!

This is my first post here and I'm sorry if this isn't the place to post this but I wasn't sure where to go. (If this is the wrong place, PLEASE tell me where to go and I will).

I'll keep it short:

I have strong reason to believe that someone in my family has access to my text messages. I want to know if there is a way for me to confirm this (technologically) and how to remove it if that's the case. Does anyone here have any suggestions? Thank you for your time.
