dual boot and OS preferences

I've been using windows 11 pro along with kali linux dual boot for pen-testing and other related things. I use windows for general purpose, file management and vscode, and obviously I use kali for pen-testing/networking. My question is should I switch over to Mac OS in replacement of windows? Mac has such a cleaner feel but I hear Mac doesn't have what windows machines have to offer. Is switching over to Mac a good choice? Why or why not.

bitlock whole internal laptop drive

I recently made a live Linux usb what I boot with ventoy (it's zorin os lite 64x bit) and I noticed that I could acces all the files on the laptop without using password of the laptop itself, even the SAM file where the password of the laptop is saved, is there any way to bitlock the whole drive to prevent easily copying files with live usb?

If this is not the right sub, can someone then recommend the one I need
