Nmap on proxychains VS Nmap on meterperter port forwarding.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Pentesting/comments/xco4z4/nmap_on_proxychains_vs_nmap_on_meterperter_port/

I've been working on my eCCPT, there is this lap where you exploit into a box and then try to povit into another one. There are usually two techniques: 1 - Redirect the traffic to a network using Proxychains. 2 - Use port forwarding using MSF to redirect the traffic on a specific port. Whats nagging me is when i did Nmap on proxychain to scan port 22, it showed up to Be filtered. Using the same Nmap technique on port forwarding shows open ( which it is actually ). PS: The Socks Proxy was configure run through the auxillary MSF module socks_proxy. Does anyone why am i experiencing this ? submitted by /u/morizk90 (https://www.reddit.com/user/morizk90)

Is it possible to sanitizing/whitelist a byte array in Java?

Fortify security program is detecting a XSS (persistent) vulnerability within an api that returns a byte[ ] (an image).

Is it possible to sanitize a byte array?

For example, can I check each byte in the array and make sure it’s within some set of byte values? (Assuming an image is translated using only a set of byte values)

Looking for a certain tool

I remember I was taught a long time ago about a tool (a website that would require a sign-up) where you'd type up an e-mail address with a certain text (really sorry I can't remember what you'd write in there) within it, once the e-mail is sent and opened, an e-mail would be returned to the sender with information about the recipient such as time zone, system on which the e-mail was opened, account name etc. ... Any luck ?
