Nmap on proxychains VS Nmap on meterperter port forwarding.

I've been working on my eCCPT, there is this lap where you exploit into a box and then try to povit into another one. There are usually two techniques: 1 - Redirect the traffic to a network using Proxychains. 2 - Use port forwarding using MSF to redirect the traffic on a specific port. Whats nagging me is when i did Nmap on proxychain to scan port 22, it showed up to Be filtered. Using the same Nmap technique on port forwarding shows open ( which it is actually ). PS: The Socks Proxy was configure run through the auxillary MSF module socks_proxy. Does anyone why am i experiencing this ? submitted by /u/morizk90 (https://www.reddit.com/user/morizk90)
