school laptop

I want to make a new admin account on my school laptop so that i can download games on it, the problem is i cant access recovery mode to do any of the commands. does anyone know any other way to make a new account without permissions or recovery mode? (its a macbook air, 12.5.1, montery m1 chip)

Why does "Russian Hackers" have such a big reputation?

This might be a dumb question, and sorry if my english is bad but im just curious.
I was just curious about why a lot of people have this idea of Russian hackers being "the best", or hackers with the "most power".
What caused Russian hackers to draw so much attention to be deemed "some of the best hackers?"

Chinese hackers have a pretty big reputation as well but~ this is kinda hard to explain sry if my english is bad but uh. I'll try explain what I mean, hopefully you get the point.
When someone hears "Russian hacker" they think of "wow scary" "very powerful" etc. When someone hears just the word "Hacker" they don't think of "ooo very scary and powerful" or well~ compared to Russian hackers.

What's the history / logic behind that?

Currently studying for my Security+ cert as well as python (both for tech but because I wanted to for a long time) and networking.

Currently practicing with labs, watching tutorials and reading write ups in the field. Something I haven’t learned yet is if I get into a system how do I then patch it to prevent it from happening?

Obviously I’m gonna learn and look this up in the future but I hardly ever see on how to patch said vuln or exploit.

Has anyone had luck rolling back firmware on Apple AirPods? Newest firmware (3E751 - April 2021) for First Generation AirPods is causing bad connectivity.

First Generation AirPods are becoming unusable due to the most recent update. This model is now discontinued and coincidentally sending your First Generation AirPods in for repair is the same price as new Second Generation AirPods with a warranty. Apple is aware is this problem, and I doubt they plan to roll out an update.

My best friend committed suicide 3 years ago, and before doing so she posted a lot of pictures on instagram and deleted everyone and made herself private. I ache to find her pictures but I just cannot figure her password out to anything. Is there any guidance someone can give me on what to do on next step
