what features would you want in an advanced rootkit?

I'm working on an advanced user mode rootkit in python, I was wondering what features you guys would want in such a rootkit, some ideas that I could add to it, as of now it has a traffic sniffer, key logger, and some custom commands, I was wondering if you guys have any ideas

How could I find security cameras on a network?

I am doing white-box pentesting on a business to see what all I can hack into. The captain obvious way of finding the security cameras' IP addresses is use scanners like Nmap or Angry IP Scanner, but different types of devices have different "types" of IP addresses. For example, printers are "134.30.134.xx" and computers are "192.56.250.xx" and VoIP phones are "10.0.8.x". Now I am trying to figure out security camera IPs. How can I do that? I found the IPs of other devices by physically looking at their settings, but the security cameras have no screen on them for me to check anything.
