hacking: security in practice
When you find a vulnerability, but don’t see any bug bounties for the site, what’s the recommended course of action?
I was looking at the website for a large company and saw that it was setup in a way that looks very vulnerable; I never actually tested the site because I didn’t want to break any rules, so I can’t say for certain.
I didn’t see anything on the website about a vulnerability disclosure policy, and they weren’t listed on Hackerone, so idk how to proceed. I’m not expecting money, but it’d be nice to have it on my Resume.
I can’t guarantee it’s vulnerable without actually testing the site, so should I just ignore it? Or should I try contacting the company since I’m pretty confident about this?
I’d appreciate any advice! I’d like to be helpful, but don’t want to violate any rules. Thanks!

my friend is being harassed and stalked by someone hidden behind a random phone number. I want to find out who this person is so he can have some peace of mind. I can't find any information attached to this phone number. I'm worried that it may be spoofed. anyway I can get more info on who is behind this?
