Someone’s been impersonating emails from my contacts and sending me threats via message app.

So far 2 contacts I know have messaged me with their emails in the past month. When I contacted the actual people, they know nothing about it. The hacker(s) has disclosed they know my address. At this point I’m not particularly worried for myself but since they did put out the time to do all this work I need some advice on how to reciprocate.

3 different laundromats in San Jose, CA are calling me. I live in Southern California.

I have been receiving phone calls from 3 different laundromats in San Jose. The caller ID shows up as laundromats and when I googled the phone numbers, it showed they're different laundromats that all look legit. I have never been to any of these businesses.

I picked up one of the calls earlier this morning and the person on the other end claimed to be from a "digital marketing agency" and wanted to speak to me regarding a domain I purchased. I did purchase a domain several months ago and forgot to add the domain privacy for about 2 days, so I was receiving phone calls and emails non stop for a couple of weeks, but that all stopped a while ago.

The laundromat that called me this morning doesn't even open until 12 PM. It's currently 9:44 AM here.

Anyone know what might be happening here? Have these laundromats been hacked or are they all running a "digital marketing agency" side hustle?
