Victim of online shaming

First off I really just want to say that this can be used as a discussion for what ethical hacking entails, but some advice would be great on top of it.

9 years ago when I was still an immature and naive kid, I had a debate/discussion online about a controversial topic, and someone took a screengrab and painted me in a really bad light. I know this is something that has already hurt my future as an individual, and it’s been driving me crazy feeling so helpless about it. Right now a search of my full name will already be enough bring up that post in the first few links, and its really affecting me a lot. The blog has been inactive for almost as long as the post went up, and the poster has been uncontactable.

I contacted a lawyer for help but he told me that he could only send a cease and desist letter to the account but the account itself is under an alias and not a real name. And that account has already been uncontactable or unresponsive for the longest time.

I’m really at a loss now as to what to do. I feel like the only way now is to find an ethical hacker who can help me out of this messed up and unfair situation but this is completely uncharted waters for me. Would this be a justifiable use of hacking as a means to alleviate the suffering of others? After all, the person who made the post has already been inactive on the blog for many years and i’m sure that if I had the chance to speak to him or meet him, he would agree to take down the post if he were a decent human being - after all I was really just a kid back then (12-14 years old).

What do you guys think?
