Dnspeep - Spy On The DNS Queries Your Computer Is Making

dnspeep lets you spy on the DNS queries your computer is making. Here's some example output: $ sudo dnspeep

How to install
You can install dnspeep using the different methods below.
Installing the binary (https://www.kitploit.com/search/label/Binary) release
Download recent release of dnspeep from the GitHub releases page (https://github.com/jvns/dnspeep/releases) Unpack it Put the dnspeep binary in your PATH (for example in /usr/local/bin)
Compile and installing from source
Download recent source release of dnspeep from the GitHub releases page (https://github.com/jvns/dnspeep/releases) or git clone this repository. Unpack it Run cargo build --release Change to the "target/release" directory there. Put the dnspeep binary in your PATH (for example in /usr/local/bin)
Installing from a Linux (https://www.kitploit.com/search/label/Linux) package manager
If you are using Arch Linux, then you can install dnspeep from the AUR (https://aur.archlinux.org/).
How it works
It uses libpcap to capture packets (https://www.kitploit.com/search/label/Capture%20Packets) on port 53, and then matches up DNS request and response packets (https://www.kitploit.com/search/label/Packets) so that it can show the request and response together on the same line. It also tracks DNS queries which didn't get a response within 1 second and prints them out with the response .
Limitations
Only supports the DNS query types supported by the dns_parser crate (here's a list (https://docs.rs/dns-parser/0.8.0/dns_parser/)) Doesn't support TCP DNS queries, only UDP It can't show DNS-over-HTTPS queries (because it would need to MITM the HTTPS connection)

Coordinated effort projects

I have always been fascinated by a group of hackers in movies making coordinated hacks (there's such a scene in money heist, for those who watch it). This got me thinking about a platform for coordinated projects, not for hacking but everything that can work better with coordinated effort like making something go viral, finishing a huge project in a very short time etc. If you are interested in such a platform, you are welcome to join the discord channel I have created to meet others, create teams and just get started making coordinated effort projects about all kinds of stuff.
