is what I have done illegal? raffle giveaway site

Hey everyone,

Just looking for some advice. So I was on a raffle giveaway site to try win some tech stuff. When placing an order the other day their payment system went down, so couldn't pay for anything and the orders where just in my orders section under account. If you clicked view you could see your numbers you would have been given.

For curiosity when the payment system was back up again, I added an order to my basket and went into my account and there i could see what numbers I was going to be given.

For some of the draws they do instant wins if you get a certain number. So I was able to put an order in my basket and check if I was going to be given one of these numbers and if not I could just cancel my order or pay for the order if it did. I done this a couple of times and ended up winning a couple of prizes. Out of curiosity I tried this on a couple of similar websites and it wouldnt show you your numbers.

My question is, is what I've done illegal or is it just a really bad flaw on the design of their website?
