Looking for a wifi adapter that can read in promiscuous mode

Hey everyone, I'm looking to capture packets across my entire network using wireshark. I don't believe my built-in NIC is capable of promiscuous mode. Can anyone recommend a good one to look into? Does it matter which one I get?

Gaining access to files

I found some files, I don't have permission to view what is inside, I know what is inside however. How would I extract everything that is inside ? I obviously can't just copy it to a thumbdrive. I know the path to the files. lmk.

Not a zip file
Windows
Not password protected, but I can not open it.
They are stored in a directory for e.g C://DOMAIN.COM/PATH
