When to Report Vulnerability

Hey all,

I’ve been delving into ethical hacking for a while now, doing a few bug bounties, working in a vm lab, etc. I was poking around a site that will remain nameless and found a critical vulnerability. I didn’t receive prior permission to test the site and I want to reach out to the owner to help fix the problem.

For those of you who have done this freelance style before, how do you go about contacting the owner and requesting testing permission?

Linked in scammers

Seems like linkedin scammers have been very active. I like how they offer certs that one already has and I can’t help but to notice they are from India (no surprise).

My question is. What are the consequences of going after someone in a foreign country? Like these guys are literally up to no good trying to offer everyone to take their exam for them. I know that breaking into an authorized system is a no go, but in this case it’s someone out to do no good.

What do you guys think?

Unrooted android phones

I've got this unrootable android phone with me that I want to use as a hacking machine.

I've already tried a couple methods to run Kali on it but this has turned out to be troublesome.

Long story short i'm asking, if in any way possible, how can it be used for hacking and to what extent?
