hacking: security in practice
I’m being hacked.

Last week I noticed in my Google searches the ads are masked as regular search results, then sometimes it will search bing even when Google is my default search engine.

Then I got a notification that someone been trying to access my Apple account and robinhood. I’d say it’s safe to say I’m being hacked or someone is at least attempting to hack me.

The chrome irregularities are on my personal and work chrome account witch really freaks me out. It makes me think this is likely due to a chrome extension of something but I’d not super technical.

1st I’ll be switching all my account passwords and use a password manager.

2nd I’ll track the login history to see if any accounts have been compromised.

What other steps should I take? Anyone have a idea of what I did to cause this? Anything I’m missing?
