Passing a negative hex value to a buffer overflow payload

Hello, im now working on a buffer overflow challenge in HackTheBox in wich i have to run a function and pass 2 negative hex values, for now im doing it like this. Lets imagine i have to pass this hex code: 0x12345678, in python, i will do it like this:

"\x12\x34\x56\x78"

But now, i have to pass this hex code as an argument: -0x21524111

How can i make it negative? sorry if its a really stupid question, its my first time doing buffer overflows

I've been watching Suits and the main character had someone hack into Harvard.

My question is: Is it possible or that easy to hack into a university's database or is it just some show's bs? And how much would it actually take to do that- hypothetically speaking?

Revenge! Sorta….

I want to know if possible to get back at the person who stole me Xbox live username. It’s my original username I made when the 360 first came out in 2005. So it’s almost been 20 years with this name and I’m not sure Microsoft is going to help or not. I have this persons email and that’s it. I have no clue how or why my profile was even targeted. If I’m SOL then so be it I figure this is the best place to turn for answers and I appreciate any answer truly.
