Passing a negative hex value to a buffer overflow payload

Hello, im now working on a buffer overflow challenge in HackTheBox in wich i have to run a function and pass 2 negative hex values, for now im doing it like this. Lets imagine i have to pass this hex code: 0x12345678, in python, i will do it like this:

"\x12\x34\x56\x78"

But now, i have to pass this hex code as an argument: -0x21524111

How can i make it negative? sorry if its a really stupid question, its my first time doing buffer overflows
