hacking: security in practice
I feel like I may have been targeted.

I feel like at the moment I am being targeted by a malicious hacker that has the ability to infiltrate my devices remotely and do things like access my cameras and apps etc. How can I be safer but more importantly, how can I check to see that I’m not being spied on by someone else? Both phone and computer.

While I was traveling, I noticed my phone automatically connected to my network provider wifi.

I was surprised to see my phone had connected without my approval to the network provider wifi.

I’m thinking this can be, or is a potential hazard. Is there a way for someone to fabricate a fake network wifi where phones could automatically connect?

This was the first time I’ve ever experienced this, so apologies for the poor explanation.
