what can someone do with my ip?

so for context: I played a game of league, my adc was bad so I called him out for it which made him mad. after the game he added me and told me to click a link to see the screenshots of damage charts which I did like an idiot. He then told me he has my ip and will put it on gumtree or something but what else can he do with it?

Im not that scared even if its real since I live in a apartment but still, can he hack into my computer??

How would one get specific data from a ram memory dump?

In computer security class they gave us a memory dump of the state of a machine and we have to get information from a process. To be more precise, coordinates from google maps opened in a web browser.

I already found what process it is in (I searched through the dump and all the ocurrecences of google.com/maps were in one specific pid).

Now I need to extract the data. They suggested 2 tools to do so: foremost to get the data of a specific process and exiftool to get metadata from that file.

My issue is, I don't know how I would use foremost in this case. It usually works by giving it a file type and it gets that file type from and image. I don't what type to specify to get a process' data (or how to use it any other way).

Second issue is, can I get google maps coordinates from the metadata? I've tried using exiftool with some other files and it basically tells you what type of file it is and a couple more things. I don't see how I can get coordinate data from that.

Anyone know of a person with a academic approach to hacking?

I love this community, and all things that are hacking it's literally all I think about it. I know I maybe a NPC because even on my holidays and weekends I research something concerning with hacking.

That being said I'd love to work for a Uni as a D Prof of hacking. Is that even real? I haven't found anyone with a doctorate degree in hacking.

CyberSec, which was my field of study is fine I suspect BUT i really mean Malware, Spyware, computer Exploits and the like I don't really mean Firewalls and that lot.

Does anyone even know anyone like that? It would be my absolute dream! Thanks for any help!
