Hash-Buster v3.0 - Crack Hashes In Seconds

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-ZIA93-lJlU0/YOfuN_m_8OI/AAAAAAAAi6M/LHzQp3YYd_wfC2X2O3tFT2VVk2SB237BwCK4BGAYYCw/w640-h128/Hash-Buster_4-730187.png

Why crack hashes when you can bust them?
Features

* Automatic hash type identification
* Supports MD5, SHA1, SHA256, SHA384, SHA512
* Can extract & crack hashes from a file
* Can find hashes from a directory, recursively
* Multi-threading
Insallation & Usage

Note: Hash Buster isn't compatible with python2, run it with python3 instead. Also, Hash-Buster uses some APIs for hash lookups, check the source code if you are paranoid.

Hash-Buster can be run directly from the python script but I highly suggest you to install it with make install

After the installation, you will be able to access it with bustercommand.

Cracking a single hash

You don't need to specify the hash type. Hash Buster will identify and crack it under 3 seconds.

Usage: buster -s

Finding hashes from a directory

Yep, just specify a directory and Hash Buster will go through all the files and directories present in it, looking for hashes.

Usage: buster -d /root/Documents

Cracking hashes from a file

Hash Buster can find your hashes even if they are stored in a file like this

Usage: buster -f /root/hashes.txt

Specifiying number of threads

Multi-threading can incredibly minimize the overall speed when you have a lot of hashes to crack by making requests in parallel.

buster -f /root/hashes.txt -t 10

What was the point of that "shortcut to the folder " virus???

I remember as a kid some one sending me a link saying "look at this"

And then shortly after I noticed all my folders where shortcuts to the folder, and they could never be opened for some reason

I had to factory reset my entire laptop and re download 10 gbs of games wtf

As a kid I had no idea how to fix it lol

Wtf where hackers supposed to accomplish doing this lol

Recommend me reverse engineering and malware analysis books

I'm into hacking and pen-testing for I think 3 years. After exploring a lot of areas inside the whole security thing I kinda liked the "non-attacking" part of it and want to deepen in. So I decided to ask you guys for some indications on books about reverse engineering and malware analysis, from basic to intermediate.

Thanks in advance

Is there anyway around the SmartScreen

When creating a backdoor and hiding it inside another file that is not meant to be an exe, (a jpg, pdf, etc) is there anyway to get around the Windows SmartScreen prompt that stops the file from running. Even if the file is fully undetectable this prompt runs whenever the publisher of the executable is unverified and I'm curious if there is any bypass other then licensing the exe. While it does not prevent the file from running the user has to go out of their way to click View More and then allow it to run which would obviously raise lots of suspension. Just wondering if this is possible or if hiding it within a exe they would be convinced into installing is the only option
