No bots were allowed to be used during our partnership with Stox. We officially want to state that Hacken and Stox never used them to manipulate the result.

The situation that occurred was likely caused by the actions of handful of individuals desiring to influence the results of the event, in order to succeed in their predictions.

Regarding the question “why did it take you so long to remove them?”, we needed to analyze the activity of all the accounts first. Only afterward this was done, did we delete them, in order not to harm actual community members who were not active in the chat, but whom attentively observe Hacken’s progress and development. The other time-consuming task for us was working on the sustainable long-term solution that would help to prevent such issues in the future.
