If your Task 2 writing is “easy to read” but still stalls at 6.5, the problem is often not grammar. It’s paragraph logic ✍️ Examiners look for ideas that move, not just ideas that sit next to each other.

1. Give each body paragraph one job.
Not “advantages and examples and opinion.” One job only: cause, effect, reason, or rebuttal.

2. Use the first sentence as a claim, not a topic label.
Weak: There are several reasons for this.
Better: The main reason remote work improves productivity is control over distractions.

3. Make every next sentence answer one of 3 things 🧠

So what?
If a sentence does none of these, it probably breaks coherence.

Open 4-5 recent sections and group them: Reading, Listening, Writing, Speaking. A 6.5 overall can hide that headings questions, map tasks, or Task 2 conclusions keep costing you points.

Examples: missed paraphrase, rushed scan, weak example, late correction. If the same label appears 3 times, that is your next drill.

3. Retake only one weak pattern ✅
