Location: On the northern coast of the South American continent bounded by the Atlantic Ocean on the north, Brazil to the southwest, Suriname to the east and Venezuela to the northwest.

BREAKING: Two young girls, ages 10 and 11, died tragically by drowning this afternoon during a family trip at a creek along the Soesdyke-Linden highway.

The girls were reportedly swimming at the time when they disappeared under the water. A frantic search was launched for the two after they were discovered missing. Their bodies were found minutes apart.

One of the girls was celebrating her birthday today with family members.
