Good evening guys, As the PRELIMS have got over and hence now I a coming across a common question that what needs to be prepared now for Mains exam of IBPS PO and how to do it. First thing which I will be mentioníng here is that the LEVEL of difficulty is gonna increase multifolds in mains in all the sections altogether. As an example, I will take English section. The kind of passages which u will be facing in mains exam will be of next level. The comprehension n understanding of it will become very difficult unless you have got the habit of reading high quality content like the editorials of business line/economic Times/The Hindu difficult ones. This habit cannt be developed overnight n hence if u hvnt started reading this level of articles, then it's the best time for you guys to start it now or else it becomes too late. At times, the editorials of these kind f sources becomes so tricky that even after reading the whole passage/article, the gist remains dubious or completely incomprehensible. Similar things happen with reasoning as well as quant. It becomes very difficult to crack a single puzzle of difficult level if the practice is not upto the mark. U need to sit back again n check topic wise and section wise that which are the topics in each section which needs further practice. Also you need to increase the level of difficulty as IBPS is becoming habitual of increasing the level of exam. It's time for you all when you should start practicing difficult level questions of the topics which u hv completed already. No point leaving those topics midway n starting those which u don't understand at all or u hv left it to be covered later. Also try to do questions in a time bound manner with the help of stopwatch or timer so that u can keep a track of timings. Increasing your speed with level of difficulty is an art which can sail you through. Also keep in mind that u don't have to top a particular section but actually have to clear the section and the overall cutoff. So try to strategise your prep in a manner that which section do you want toaximise your score n which section just needs to be sailed through. Remember it's not only a test of your knowledge, but it is a test of your patience as well as prudence. May be that's why it is said abt IBPS PO exam that not hard work is required, but smart work is required. Happy Learning Guys.
