Why is this Apocalypse? — Chip Tsao

(27 Feb) China let the Wuhan Pneumonia epidemic happen because they lacked self-confidence in western values. Yet, China pretends to construct an overlapping period of this “Humanity with a Common Destiny.”

The leftards of the western society have a long history of drumming up the introspective guilt towards western civilisation. A hundred years ago, German writer Oswald Spengler wrote the book Decline of the West (Der Untergang des Abendlandes) to undermine the occidental-centric viewpoint of history, and argued that western European civilisation was in a declining or even destructing stage.
————————————-

//But they don’t know that contemporary China has no “civilisation.”

//The so-called “Construction of Humanity with a Common Destiny” and “China Dream” were just bubbles formed by pumping money from China’s GDP to the world.

//Their wait for China to construct “Humanity with a Common Destiny” is, of course, a nightmare as well as a joke. EU, UN, WHO, and WTO are rotten inside and out one more than the next.

When Bloomberg News’s Reporting on China Was Challenged, Bloomberg Tried to Ruin Me for Speaking Out

//I am one of the many women Mike Bloomberg’s company tried to silence through nondisclosure agreements… I never even worked for Bloomberg.

//the Bloomberg machine will go to in order to avoid offending Beijing… so dependent on the vast China market for its business that its lawyers threatened to devastate my family financially if I didn’t sign an NDA silencing me about how Bloomberg News killed a story critical of Chinese Communist Party leaders.

//Soon after Bloomberg published the article on Xi’s family wealth in June 2012, my husband received death threats conveyed by a woman who told him she represented a relative of Xi… “Something will happen. It will look like an accident. Nobody will know what happened. He’ll just be found dead.”

//I desperately wanted to speak publicly about the death threats, feeling it would give us stronger protection, but Bloomberg News wanted us not to say anything about it… I stayed silent until October 26, 2012, when another (unrelated) story was published in defiance of the Chinese government. I decided to tweet that we had received death threats after the Bloomberg story on Xi Jinping.

//a Bloomberg manager called my husband and said, “Get your wife to delete her tweets.”

//“If we run the story, we’ll be kicked out of China,” Winkler reportedly said on a company call.

//Mike Bloomberg… his company had self-censored out of fear of offending the Chinese government

//I was also infuriated that they had kept us in harm’s way after we received threats… and now were trying to take away my freedom of speech forever.

//Even now, I am nervous about the consequences of speaking out. But the more of us speak out, the stronger we are.

The Vatican “gifts” Hong Kong to the Chinese Regime

//The next Archbishop of Hong Kong will be completely pro-China.

//The agreement between the Holy See and China – which remains secret even to this day – thus claims a new victim, the church in Hong Kong.

//the new archbishop of Hong Kong is about to be officially appointed, but the Holy See has not announced it yet because the name of the new archbishop will cause arguments and division among the clergy of Hong Kong.

//it indicates the surrender of the Vatican to the Chinese Communist regime and the handing over of the Archdiocese of Hong Kong to the Patriotic Association, which is controlled by the communist party.

//the figure of Bishop Ha was an embarrassment... it is certain that Archbishop Yeung had already decided to name Peter Choy as his second auxiliary bishop

//the protests that erupted in Hong Kong... have revealed the rift within the church of Hong Kong more than ever.

//Msgr. Peter Choy... close to the regime in Beijing and far from the hearts of the people of Hong Kong, the majority of whom prefer Bishop Ha

//The transformation of the Archdiocese of Hong Kong into another outpost of the Chinese National Church has now arrived at its end game.

Leather Healer

From the early days of the Movement until now, Hong Kongers have launched many class boycotts and strikes. Many merchants and boutiques joined to support. This time, we stepped into a 1970s old-style elevator, as if we have walked through a time machine, and came to a shop with an antique wooden signboard selling leather shoes and clothing.

Just walked out from the elevator, we already heard the voice of men chatting, which included a lot of vulgar content, from the shop. The dark wall outside contrasts with the warm yellow lights in the shop. Each pair of leather shoes was neatly arranged. The scent of leather could be smelled in the air. All sorts of repairing tools for leather shoes were filled on the wooden display rack, such as shoelaces and brushes, as well as various colours of shoe polish, cream and wax.

Shop assistants in workwear and goggles took a pair of leather shoes from the polish machine to the counter, rubbed the shoes under the light of the classic library-style table lamp. A set of leather sofas were placed at a corner, with several photos showing the manufacturing process of leather shoes hung on the wall at the back. Another corner placed a pair and a pair of repairing leather shoes, tools for repair and shoe molds. There was also a polish machine with the trace of time besides.

The branch in Central mainly sells European handmade leather shoes, while the one in Tsim Sha Tsui sells hats, shirts, trousers and jackets. Everything from head to toe can be found in the shop and all details are well thought out. Besides, the shop also provides products’ repair and care services. The emphasis on the integrity of taste is a pursuit of beauty. Similarly, leather, just like a gentleman who is sometimes elegant and sometimes rough, can withstand the test of time.
