這是最好的時代,這是最壞的時代。

//...就如梁繼平不懼怕失去生命,在衝入立法會那一晚的演說,要贏就要一起繼續贏下去,要是輸了香港整個公民社會就失去了十年,很多學生會被迫害,很多市民會被扣捕,當政府一再告訴大家,和平示威是沒有用的時候,站起來革命就是一種義務,為不公義的事情發聲,拾回我們那或許已遺忘了的良知。

我很慶幸能夠在置身這個時代,
也很慶幸能夠在這裡遇上大家。//

============

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times

"...Leung Kai Ping said in the Legco Building on July 1, 2019:

If we fight, we must fight on until we win. If we don’t, the civil society of Hong Kong will relapse by 10 years. Many students will be prosecuted. Many citizens will be arrested.

As the government in their words and actions tells us that peaceful processions are ineffective, revolution has become our duty.

Fighting injustice, and piecing together the conscience we have forgotten are all our duties as a Hongkonger.

I am glad that I was born in these times,
I am glad that I am able to meet you all."
