Police Reprimand Bystander For Wearing Face Masks, Ignoring Imminent Epidemic Risks

At Edinburgh Place in Central, riot police scolded a passerby for wearing a face mask, asking “why are you wearing face mask?”

The passerby explained that he wore a face mask, “because of the outbreak of Wuhan pneumonia.”

The Riot Police replied, perhaps unaware of the irony, “This is Hong Kong!”

Editor’s note: While members of the police force may lack basic knowledge on disease prevention, the Wuhan Pneumonia has in fact spread across the borders of various countries including Japan, Singapore and Thailand.
