🇮🇳 A Flag That Carried the Spirit of Swadeshi!

#DidYouKnow? Sister Nivedita is believed to have designed a flag bearing the words “Vande Mataram” during the Swadeshi Movement.

A symbol of national pride, self-reliance and the spirit of freedom - long before the Tiranga became our national flag.
The Tiranga represents our national pride and deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. The National Flag must not be used as part of costume or uniform, or printed or embroidered on napkins, handkerchiefs, cushions or other dress material.
Wishing you a Happy 80th #IndependenceDay!
