Over the weekend, we welcomed back some familiar faces at our Green Guardian Leadership Workshop, following a dialogue session we hosted in March. Over the course of the next 6 months, students will prototype and test their solutions to tackle different sustainability challenges they crafted.
We cannot wait to see the results of these young creative minds and their changemaking ideas.

Teams of students and youths have been working to apply their creative talents and technical skills to innovate for the next solution to address some of our social and environmental issues. Some of the final innovations will be on display!
There will also be a range of different activities catered for everyone, including workshops, talks, games and challenges, carnival bazaar, guided nature walks, Kayak ‘N' Klean.

🍃Join NParks on free guided nature walks around Jurong Lake Gardens and discover the rich biodiversity we have around us! 4 different sessions (8/8.15am, 4.30/4.45pm) are available. Scan the QR codes of your preferred session to register.
NParks’ monthly Bazaar in the Gardens at JLG is also happening on the same day. Catch what’s on offer on their website.
PAssion Wave will also be conducting free Kayak ‘N’ Klean Tryouts. Enjoy kayaking while cleaning up floating marine litter.

GreenFest 2022 unleashed a wave of energy and ideas on Saturday 23 July!
We saw the creative and innovative potential of youth in developing ground up sustainable solutions, through tech, upcycling waste fabrics to create new wearable fashion items, and other
ideas for creating value from waste.
We saw the eagerness in learning among participants in the sharing and workshop sessions. Likewise, youth and families interacted enthusiastically with the exhibits and exhibitors at various stations in the Eco Challenge.
As SM Tharman Shanmugaratnam said in his brief address, the whole idea of GreenFest was to generate ground-up collaboration: in learning, experimentation and change for a better and sustainable world: “While few of us are experts, each of us by learning and acting together can become a little bit of an expert, and can and must contribute to
our becoming a green society.”
