URANIUM FINANCE HACKER CONVICTED IN $54.7M HEIST

Jonathan Spalletta, also known as “Cthulhon,” has been convicted by a Manhattan federal jury for stealing $54.7M from Uranium Finance in 2021.

Prosecutors indicate he laundered the stolen funds through Tornado Cash, subsequently allocating portions of the capital to rare Pokémon cards and other collectibles.

Spalletta has surrendered himself to authorities and now faces a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison.
