Just a quick one for the idiots - Bitmex was the largest crypto company back in 2017, in 2024 they were fined for 150 Million Dollars total and because of that reason Bitmex is now gone

UPDATE: $351.6M drained from Bitget. Private keys were not compromised. Attackers exploited a wallet backend vulnerability to spoof transaction data and bypass authorization. This supports my thesis that AI likely identified the flaw. Malicious actors use AI agents 24/7 for scanning, pen testing, reverse engineering, and finding missed exploits. Anthropic documents automated AI "exploit foundries," and Google reports attackers adopting agentic workflows. If holding significant assets, consider self-custody and multisig.
