In a competition between boomers and cops. Boomers are hands down a worse demographic. Fortunately boomer policemen ( all have now retired ) were really good at doing policework and are inverse of their age demographic.

There is a venn diagram of boomers and cops where both demographics are really not beating the charges they are accused of, with rare occasions but the overlap creates a unique group of people ( if they alive ) that represent the best of both their profession and their age demographic. During the Freedom Convoy young RCMP officers arrested veterans of the department as well as veterans from other departments who not only gave their time, energy and money to the cause but was there till the bitter end. Detective Helen Grus of the Ottawa Police ( not boomer but Gen X) is one such case. Policework has changed over the last generation and so has the type of people who work as policemen. When you find yourself not liking policemen for what they do, and for all the right reasons. You are correctly identifying a part of the population that is very much in agreement with the status quo and that status quo is wrong.
