TON Network receives update on March 28
TON Foundation has always been diligent in emphasizing TON Blockchain’s stability and user protection as our top priority. The proof is on the blockchain: Since the beginning of last year, the network has not experienced a single breakdown or failure.
On March 28, the validators pushed an update that amended the network’s configuration.
The update improved:
▪️ Security against DDoS attacks
▪️ Network optimization when handling large throughput.
Over the past year, the number of accounts on TON Network has increased 14 times, with the number of transactions surpassing 120 million.
Despite the ecosystem’s meteoric growth, the blockchain’s transaction fees remain low.
The Open Network’s architecture gives it the flexibility to process a higher throughput comprising up to millions of transactions per second.
A stress test conducted not long ago concluded that, even if the number of validators on the blockchain dwindled to only 12, the network would still be able to handle the current load — but times 100.
TON is equipped with state-of-the-art blockchain technology and is poised for mass adoption.

STON.fi has its sights set on the future. On November 20th, the DEX was launched, offering secure token swaps on the TON blockchain through an extremely user-friendly interface.
🥌 STON.fi is now prepared to advance and integrate the liquidity of the TON blockchain with other networks, eliminating the need for bridges and centralized solutions.
🥌 In the upcoming development phase, swaps between TON and TRON networks will be facilitated without the use of bridges or wrapped tokens. Users can exchange native Toncoin within the TON network for native USDT in the TRC-20 network in a fully decentralized way! Crucially for the TON ecosystem, any project can integrate cross-chain swaps using our SDK.
🥌 During the third phase, token swaps between the TON and EVM-compatible networks, such as Ethereum and Polygon, will be implemented.

Orbs releases single nominator smart contract for validators on The Open Network (TON)
Orbs, a decentralized public blockchain infrastructure provider, has launched a new smart contract that improves security for validators on The Open Network (TON). This is the latest contribution to TON by Orbs, which recently set up TON Access, a decentralized RPC network for TON dApps.
The new smart contract means that even if a hacker obtains access to the validator server, the hacker will not be able to remove any Toncoin (TON). In addition to the added security, this new feature will help make TON more decentralized by encouraging individual users to participate in validation.
