Sara Netanyahu Interviewed on Fox News

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s wife Sara was recently interviewed on Fox News Digital (https://www.foxnews.com/world/exclusive-sara-netanyahu-warns-surging-antisemitism-importance-jewish-christian-alliance) where she commented on a range of issues including the war in Iran, the US-Israeli partnership and the effort to harm American Christian support for Israel.

Regarding the latter Mrs. Netanyahu said that extremists on both the left and the right were continuing to promote antisemitism because they have not learned from history and were seeking to undermine Israel and foster rifts in both the Christian community and the Republican Party.

Fox noted that Mrs. Netanyahu’s recent trip to Washington has led to enhanced dialogue with Microsoft and Meta, which have expressed interest in investing tens of millions of dollars in AI and remote learning for young people, especially in Israel where educational continuity has been impaired due to the security situation, and representatives of which have been invited to visit Israel.
Statement by Prime Minister Netanyahu

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu [translated from Hebrew]:

"I just spoke with Haifa mayor Yona Yahav, expressing my deep sorrow for the terrible loss of life of four people in Haifa. Yona Yahav made a few requests, and I immediately instructed the Director General of my office to do everything possible in order to render assistance, to the families as well as to the municipality.
The most important thing, however, which came up again in this conversation, is one simple rule, an ironclad rule: for those who follow the instructions of the Home Front Command and remain in a protected area, the chances of getting hurt are virtually non-existent.
I therefore ask you, all citizens of Israel, particularly the residents of the North who are now truly going through this tough experience, and I do know how tough it is for you. I ask you, and we will do what we can to assist, I ask you to follow the instructions of the Home Front Command".

Israel MOD to Accelerate Arrow Interceptor Production

The Ministerial Committee for Procurement has approved the Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD) plan for a major additional acceleration of Arrow interceptor production developed and manufactured at Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI). Defense Minister Israel Katz and IMOD Director General Maj. Gen. (Res.) Amir Baram advanced the deal, which will be signed shortly, enabling a significant increase in both the production rate and stockpile of Arrow interceptors as part of preparations for the evolving campaign. Israel’s defense industries are already ramping up production under IMOD directives, and the Committee’s approval clears the way for further expansion.

The Arrow system, jointly developed and produced with the U.S. Missile Defense Agency (MDA), intercepts ballistic threats at exo-atmospheric and upper-atmospheric altitudes, defending Israel against long-range strategic threats. The system has proven its capabilities during the current war, successfully intercepting numerous ballistic missiles launched from Iran and Yemen. It is considered one of the most advanced missile defense systems in the world.

The acceleration plan is led by the Director of the Israel Missile Defense Organization (IMDO) within the Directorate of Defense Research and Development (DDR&D), Moshe Patel, together with the Budget Department and additional IMOD departments.

IAI is the prime developer of the Arrow system through the company’s MLM Division, in partnership with STARK Aerospace in the United States. IAI’s ELTA Division and TMM Division, Elbit Systems, Tomer, and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems all participate in the system’s production.

The MDA is a key partner of the IMDO within DDR&D in developing and producing Israel’s multi-layered air and missile defense array, which includes the Arrow, David’s Sling, and Iron Dome systems. The strategic cooperation between Israel and the United States helps ensure Israel’s technological edge in air defense.

Defense Minister, Israel Katz: “The large-scale acceleration of Arrow interceptor production is already driving a significant increase in monthly output, strengthening Israel’s upper defense layer against ballistic threats from Iran and its proxies. Israel has sufficient interceptors to protect its citizens, and this initiative is designed to ensure continued freedom of action and the sustained operational endurance we require. The Ayatollah regime should know: Israel is resilient and strong, prepared to sustain the campaign for as long as necessary, and continues to enhance its defensive and offensive capabilities while fighting.”

IMOD Director General Maj. Gen. (Res.) Amir Baram: “Over the past year - and with greater intensity since Operation Roaring Lion - the IMOD has been operating on an emergency footing to increase production rates across our multi-layered defense systems, first and foremost the Arrow. The proactive steps we took early on, together with the defense industries, are what give the IDF its sustained operational endurance today. The Committee’s approval will allow us to fund the measures already underway and strengthen readiness for the months ahead.”
Head of DDR&D, Brig. Gen. (Res.) Dr. Daniel Gold: “The Arrow system forms the upper layer of Israel’s multi-layered air and missile defense array and has demonstrated outstanding performance against missiles from Iran and Yemen in recent years. Accelerating production and expanding procurement of Arrow interceptors is a vital step in maintaining the IDF’s qualitative edge and reinforcing the defense of Israel’s civilian and military home front. DDR&D has tasked the defense industries with increasing capabilities and production rates across all of the IDF’s strategic munitions - defensive and offensive alike - as a clear lesson of this war. This is a central milestone on that path.”

IAI President and CEO Boaz Levy: “With Israel in the midst of Operation Roaring Lion and facing an active ballistic threat, the need for Arrow 3 - capable of high-altitude interception with precise, advanced, and highly reliable technology - has become more evident than ever. The knowledge and expertise accumulated at IAI, combined with the around-the-clock dedication and professionalism our people have shown, converge at the moment when technology, people, and national mission come together. We will continue to stand at the forefront, strengthen Israel’s security, and ensure its citizens have the best and most advanced protection in the world.”

Landmark Defense Deal During Wartime: Israel MOD to Supply Advanced Elbit Systems PULS Rocket Artillery System to Greece in Deal Worth Approximately $750 Million

At a ceremony at the Hellenic Ministry of National Defense in Athens, Israel's and Greece's defense ministries signed a landmark defense export agreement today (Monday) for the supply of PULS (Precise & Universal Launching System) rocket artillery systems to the Hellenic Armed Forces, valued at approximately $750 million (approximately €650 million).

The ceremony was attended by Brig. Gen. (Res.) Yair Kulas, Director of SIBAT (International Defense Cooperation Directorate) at the Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD); Maj. Gen. Ioannis Bouras, Director of the General Directorate for Defense Investments and Armaments (GDDIA) of the Hellenic Ministry of National Defense; Yehuda Udi Vardi, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Elbit Systems Land ; and senior officials from both nations.

The agreement reflects the growing defense cooperation between Israel and Greece. It is part of the Ministry’s ongoing strategy, led by Defense Minister Israel Katz and IMOD Director General Maj. Gen. (Res.) Amir Baram, to expand Israeli defense exports as a key tool for ensuring IDF force buildup and strengthening, advancing policy, and bolstering the defense industries and the economy.

The PULS is a versatile multipurpose weapons system designed to launch rockets over various ranges. The system will provide Greece with precise and operationally proven strike capabilities. Elbit Systems will serve as the prime contractor and will supply PULS launchers along with a comprehensive munitions package that includes training rockets, precision-guided rockets for various ranges, and loitering munitions. The contract will be implemented over four years, followed by an additional ten-year period of sustainment and support. In line with both the IMOD’s strategy and the Greek government's policy direction, the agreement will include industrial cooperation between the two countries and the production of system components by Greek defense industries.
Defense Minister, Israel Katz: “This agreement, concluded following my visit to Athens and discussions with my Greek counterpart on advancing a series of strategic initiatives between our nations - including the expansion of defense cooperation and defense deals - reflects the deepening of the strategic security partnership between Israel and Greece and the profound confidence in the capabilities of the Israeli defense establishment. Israel’s defense industries, including Elbit, stand at the forefront of global technology. Precisely during the current war, they have succeeded in significantly expanding production and output capacity, providing immediate solutions to the IDF’s operational needs, and simultaneously advancing strategic agreements with international partners. This is a testament to our advanced technological capabilities and the high demand for Israeli systems in the global market. I am confident that this agreement will further strengthen the strategic defense cooperation between Israel and Greece - a partnership that stands at its highest point today.”

IMOD Director General, Maj. Gen. (Res.) Amir Baram: “On behalf of the Israel Ministry of Defense, I wish to thank our strategic partners in the Hellenic Ministry of National Defense for placing their confidence in Israeli defense capabilities and our world-class defense industry. Signing a landmark defense agreement in the midst of an unprecedented war against Iran demonstrates, more than anything else, the technological prowess of Israel and our ability to assist close allies even while engaged in combat. Israel's defense exports support the Ministry's strategy - through them, we expand Israeli munitions independence further and can invest greater resources in developing the next breakthroughs.”

SIBAT Director, Brig. Gen. (Res.) Yair Kulas: “Our partnership with Greece has evolved into a true strategic alliance, reflecting shared commitment to regional stability and innovation. This agreement demonstrates our capability to deliver advanced, life-saving systems powered by cutting-edge technology. This achievement is made even more significant through the contribution of local industries from both our nations. We remain committed to deepening this partnership for the benefit of both our nations and future generations.”

President and CEO of Elbit Systems, Bezhalel (Butzi) Machlis: “Elbit Systems has a longstanding and successful cooperation with the Hellenic Ministry of National Defense, and this project further strengthens that relationship. Greece joins additional NATO countries that have selected the PULS system, underscoring its growing reputation as a highly effective and versatile solution for modern artillery requirements in Europe and beyond, and we are honored by the continued confidence shown in our advanced systems.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: “We are systematically dismantling the IRGC's money machine. We are destroying factories, eliminating operatives, and continuing to eliminate senior officials.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, today (Monday, 6 April 2026) [translated from Hebrew]:

"Yesterday, I spoke again with my friend, President Trump. I expressed our immense appreciation for the heroic rescue operation of that American aircrew member, and President Trump, for his part, thanked me for the assistance Israel provided in this mission.

In general, he spoke of us in superlatives. He said: 'You guys are great.' He views Israel as a steadfast, determined, and firm ally that fights shoulder-to-shoulder alongside the United States, and together, we are continuing to crush Iran's regime of terror.

Today, we destroyed the largest petrochemical plant in Iran. This means we are systematically dismantling the IRGC's money machine. We are destroying factories, eliminating operatives, and yes, we are continuing to eliminate senior officials.

Iran is no longer the same Iran, and Israel is no longer the same Israel. Israel is stronger than ever, and the terrorist regime in Iran is weaker than ever. And what is the key? What is the secret? Faith and power. We have both in abundance."
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: “We are crushing the terrorist regime in Iran. But we are doing so with even greater vigor, and with increasing force. Yesterday, we destroyed transport planes and dozens of helicopters. Today, we attacked the train tracks and bridges used by the Revolutionary Guards.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, today (Tuesday, 7 April 2026) [translated from Hebrew]:

"I tell you constantly that we are crushing the terrorist regime in Iran. But we are doing so with even greater vigor, and with increasing force.

Yesterday, our pilots destroyed transport planes and dozens of helicopters at an Iranian Air Force base. Today, they attacked the train tracks and bridges used by the Revolutionary Guards. They use these to transport raw materials for weapons, the weapons themselves, and the operatives who attack us, the US, and the countries of the region, the same operatives who also oppress the Iranian people.

And this is the central point: These actions, which I approved together with the Minister of Defense, are not intended to attack the Iranian people. On the contrary, they are intended to weaken and crush the terrorist regime that has oppressed them for 47 years.

This is no longer the same Iran, nor is it the same Israel. We are changing the balance of power from one end to the other."
Prime Minister’s Office announcement on Wednesday, 8 April 2026:

Israel supports President Trump's decision to suspend strikes against Iran for two weeks subject to Iran immediately opening the straits and stopping all attacks on the US, Israel and countries in the region.

Israel also supports the US effort to ensure that Iran no longer poses a nuclear, missile and terror threat to America, Israel, Iran's Arab neighbors and the world.

The United States has told Israel that it is committed to achieving these goals, shares by the US, Israel and Israel's regional allies, in the upcoming negotiations.

The two-weeks ceasefire does not include Lebanon.

Statement by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, this evening (Wednesday, 8 April 2026) [translated from Hebrew]:

"Citizens of Israel, I want to thank you, our wonderful nation.

While you demonstrated resilience sitting in the secure rooms and shelters, together we achieved immense accomplishments: Our fighters at the front and you on the home front.

But before all else, I wish to bow my head in memory of our loved ones who fell in this campaign.

I wish to embrace the bereaved families and, on behalf of all of you, send wishes for a speedy recovery to our wounded loved ones.

My brothers and sisters, the State of Israel has achieved immense accomplishments, achievements that until recently seemed completely imaginary.

Iran is weaker than ever, and Israel is stronger than ever. This is the bottom line of this campaign, up to this moment.

And I wish to clarify: We still have goals to complete, and we will achieve them either by agreement or by the resumption of fighting.

We are prepared to return to combat at any necessary moment. Our finger is on the trigger.

As you know, a two-week temporary ceasefire between the United States and Iran went into effect tonight, in full coordination with Israel. No, they did not surprise us at the last minute. Now, I want to emphasize, this is not the end of the campaign. This is a way station on the way to achieving all of our goals.

Iran enters negotiations battered and weaker than ever. It has committed to opening the Strait of Hormuz after waiving all of its preconditions.

It waived the cancellation of sanctions, receiving reparations, a final end to the war, and also a ceasefire in Lebanon.

While Iran is weaker than ever, Israel is as strong as it has ever been.

Six weeks ago, for the first time in history, we went to war shoulder-to-shoulder with my friend President Trump and our great ally, the United States.

We set out on a historic operation, the largest operation the Middle East has ever known. Nothing like this has ever happened in the history of Israel.

A partnership like this between Israel and the US against our greatest enemy has also never existed in Israel's history. And yes, I can reassure those worried about the relationship between myself and President Trump. As he said: 'You are great.' We speak every day, and we smile when we hear these assessments.

In any case, anyone who chooses to ignore the power of this partnership is simply ignoring the truth.

As US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said today, the appreciation for Israel as an ally on the battlefield, appreciation for our heroism, courage and skill, this appreciation is soaring.

President Trump, Donald my friend, I want to thank you for your leadership and your friendship. The deep friendship between us, the deep friendship between the US and Israel, is changing the face of the Middle East.

We went out together to remove an existential threat from over the State of Israel and the entire free world, and we are carrying out that mission. We are carrying it out it step by step, goal after goal.

If we hadn't set out on Operation Rising Lion, and then if we hadn't set out on Operation Roaring Lion, Iran would have long ago had nuclear weapons, and Iran would have had many thousands of missiles to destroy Israel and threaten the existence of us all.

We have removed this double existential threat from over our heads. We have set the terrorist regime in Iran back many years. We have shaken its foundations. We have crushed it.
What we have achieved up to now:

We smashed Iran's missile production machine. Not only did we destroy existing missiles, we destroyed the factories that produce them. The Iranians are firing what is left in their arsenal, and the arsenal is emptying out. But they are not producing new missiles.

We have severely damaged Iran's nuclear program. We destroyed many nuclear infrastructures, centrifuge plants, and one more thing, we eliminated more nuclear scientists who joined those we eliminated in Operation Rising Lion.

Regarding the enriched material still remaining in Iran: As senior Trump administration officials said today, all the enriched material will leave Iran. Either it will leave by agreement, or it will leave by the resumption of fighting. We see eye-to-eye on this matter.

We have smashed the money machine and the weapon production machine of the Revolutionary Guards. We destroyed steel plants, petrochemical plants, weapon manufacturing plants, bridges, and railways for the transport of forces and weapons.

We have destroyed military infrastructure: The Iranian Navy, dozens of aircraft, missile bases, and headquarters.

We have severely damaged the regime’s mechanism of oppression. We eliminated thousands of its operatives and proved that we can hunt them down anywhere. They have nowhere to hide.

We eliminated senior regime officials, from the tyrant Khamenei to the top brass of the Revolutionary Guards and the Basij.

As a result of Israel's determination and strength, strength and determination that everyone in the Middle East sees, we are creating new alliances with countries in the region.

I insisted that the temporary ceasefire with Iran not include Hezbollah. And we continue to strike them forcefully.

Today we dealt Hezbollah the greatest blow it has suffered since the pagers. We attacked 100 targets in 10 minutes, in places Hezbollah was certain were immune.

Wonderful residents of the North, we are committed to returning security to you.
We have created deep security zones beyond our borders, in Lebanon, Syria and Gaza, where we control more than half of the Strip and are choking Hamas from every side.

Citizens of Israel, anyone who tries to ignore these monumental achievements, monumental achievements of the State of Israel and IDF soldiers; anyone who tries to diminish them, either they do not know what they are talking about, or they are speaking out of foreign interests.

Because the truth is simple: As I promised you at the beginning of the War of Redemption, we have dramatically changed the face of the Middle East in Israel's favor, and we will continue to do so.

Because we are the side that takes the initiative, we are the side that fights, and with G-d's help, we are the side that wins.

Happy Maimouna holiday (https://www.myjewishlearning.com/article/maimouna-a-post-passover-celebration/), citizens of Israel, a holiday of Israeli unity. May you prosper and find favor."
Statement by Prime Minister Netanyahu

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
[translated from Hebrew]:

"In light of Lebanon's repeated requests to open direct negotiations with Israel, I instructed at the Government meeting yesterday to open direct negotiations with Lebanon as soon as possible.

The negotiations will focus on the disarmament of Hezbollah and the establishing of peaceful relations between Israel and Lebanon.

Israel appreciates the call made today by the Prime Minister of Lebanon to demilitarize Beirut."

Statement by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, this evening (Thursday, 9 April 2026) [translated from Hebrew]:

"Dear residents of the North, I am proud of you. You continue to stand firm.

I wish to inform you: There is no ceasefire in Lebanon. We are continuing to strike Hezbollah with full force, and we will not stop until we restore your security.

Our great achievements, both in Iran and against the Axis of Evil, have brought about a historic shift in Israel’s standing in the region. They have also led to a change in our ties with countries we did not have relations with in the past.

Following repeated requests from the Lebanese government to open peace negotiations with us, last night I instructed the Cabinet to begin direct negotiations with Lebanon to achieve two goals: First, the disarming of Hezbollah. Second, a historic, sustainable peace agreement between Israel and Lebanon.

Israel is stronger than ever; Iran is weaker than ever.

I have already brought four peace agreements with Arab nations, and I intend to bring more – true peace, peace through strength."

Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism Special Report on Operation Roaring Lion: Growing gap between Republican Party leadership, which supports the campaign against Iran, and a populist-isolationist camp in the US, which is spreading anti-war, anti-Israel, and antisemitic messages.

The Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism, today (Thursday, 9 April 2026), released a special report that examines American public sentiment regarding the war against Iran (https://www.gov.il/en/pages/epic-fury-us-public-sentiment-analysis-2026-03). The report analyzes its potential impact on the US political system, anti-Israel discourse, and the safety of Jewish communities.

While support for the campaign remains high among the Republican public, an anti-war discourse identified with isolationist currents on the American right, primarily "America First" and "America Only", is intensifying. This discourse does not stop at opposing military involvement; it frequently devolves into narratives such as: "Israel First", "Dying for Israel" and accusations of Israeli or Jewish "control" over US foreign policy.

According to the report (which covers the period up to April 1, 2026), online discourse reflects a sharp polarization: Establishment Leadership, Republican leaders, political officials, and mainstream conservative commentators frame the campaign as an essential necessity to curb the Iranian threat, ensure regional deterrence, and protect US allies. However, prominent figures in the populist and anti-establishment sphere frame the war as a violation of the "no more wars" promise, claiming it fails to serve American interests.

The report highlights a significant surge in anti-war messaging on social media, particularly on X (formerly Twitter). These messages are often accompanied by antisemitic tropes and conspiracy theories against Israel including thousands of mentions of terms like "Neocon", “America First” and "Dying for Israel” which attempt to link the war to domestic US political conspiracies.

According to the report, it also appears that while the majority of Republicans currently support action against Iran, this support is not unlimited. As the campaign lengthens, expands, or leads to significant economic costs, the rifts within the Republican camp may deepen, and voices opposing American involvement may grow stronger.

The Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism emphasizes that these trends may have direct implications not only for Israel-US relations, but also for the level of risk faced by Jewish and Israeli communities in the United States.
Past experience shows that when anti-Israel narratives are combined with accusations of "dual loyalty," "Jewish control," or "wars for Israel," the path to an increase in antisemitic incidents is particularly short.

Amichai Chikli, Minister of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism:

"The picture emerging from the report is concerning: alongside significant American support for the war against the Iranian terror regime, a discourse is expanding in the U.S. that attempts to present Israel as acting manipulatively, as if it dragged the U.S. into war. This is a dangerous discourse that often devolves from political and diplomatic criticism into conspiratorial rhetoric with a sharp antisemitic aroma. Our role is to identify these trends in time, alert people to them, and act together with our partners to understand deep-seated trends and know how to prepare and respond to them."
Avi Cohen-Scali, Director General of the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism:

"The report emphasizes how much the perceptual arena in the U.S. affects reality on the ground. We identify an increasingly tightening connection between internal political debate in the U.S. and the dissemination of anti-Israel and antisemitic messages online. The National Command Center of the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism continues to monitor developments, analyze the discourse in real-time, and provide updated assessments to relevant parties in Israel and around the world."

The Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism notes that heading into this coming November and the U.S. midterm elections, the issue is expected to continue shaping the political discourse on the American Right. They emphasize the need for continued close monitoring of the evolution of narratives, their impact on public opinion, and the potential implications for Israel and American Jewry.

Executive Summary of the Research

The report analyzes Republican positions toward the war with Iran as of March 2026 and assesses how internal U.S. political divisions may influence the conflict's progression. A summary of recent U.S. public opinion polls indicates that approximately half of Americans oppose the war, about a third support it, and a large portion of the public remains uncertain. Opposition to the strikes is most notable among Democrats and Independents, while Republican voters largely support the war. The vast majority of the American public opposes the deployment of U.S. ground troops.

The report reveals rifts within the Republican Party. A stream identified with the "America First" isolationist approach argues that the strikes contradict the anti-war rhetoric of previous campaigns and risk dragging the U.S. into another prolonged Middle Eastern conflict, leading to high economic costs that harm domestic interests. Some actors in this camp also disseminate "Israel First" narratives, alongside messages such as "Dying for Israel," which frame the war as serving Israeli or foreign interests at the expense of American interests. In some cases, these narratives are accompanied by antisemitic claims regarding disproportionate Jewish or Israeli influence over U.S. foreign policy.

In contrast, the Republican Party leadership, prominent figures in conservative media, and pro-Trump influencers justify the intervention, presenting it as a necessary deterrent against Iran's nuclear ambitions and regional activities. These divisions can be understood through three primary ideological layers on the American Right:

The MAGA Camp (Make America Great Again): More closely identified with support for assertive foreign policy and maintaining the alliance with Israel.

The "America First" Stream: Expresses a populist, anti-establishment view emphasizing domestic priorities and opposition to prolonged military involvement.

The "America Only" Stream: Represents a more radical isolationist approach, sometimes incorporating white nationalist, conspiratorial, and antisemitic rhetoric.

Across all these streams, online influencers and alternative media networks play a central role in shaping the discourse, particularly among younger audiences, by amplifying anti-war messages and framing the conflict as inconsistent with American interests.

Current polls and political discourse indicate that Republican support for the war remains strong but may be conditional. While voters identified with MAGA and party leadership largely support the campaign, rifts in conservative media and among parts of the Republican leadership suggest that support could weaken if the conflict becomes prolonged, expands operationally, or incurs sustained economic costs.
